The use of sustainable material on our frames makes them eco friendly When our frames are used in conjunction with ISOVER or Knauf insulation and Panel vent board it is possible to achieve a U value of 0.15 making our timber frame homes very thermally efficient and cheap to heat during the cold months. The standard wall frame of the timber frame is constructed using 195 x 45mm and this is usually the same for the sole plate, studs and plates. The construction of the roof will be determined by the size and span required and usually involves glulam beams and posts. The roof can be constructed using trusses or 'cut' depending on design. This also is the same for the floor joists. We welcome both self builders and trade customers. We can come and erect the frame for you or supply the timber frame for you to build along with plans and instructions / advice if you require it. |

5-8 days to have it watertight! Using a membrane system, depending on the size of your house, it may only take us 5-8 days to have it water tight. Full Cad drawings are supplied Each component is labeled for easy identification during assembly. You will receive all the information you require to erect the frame yourself and any advice from us. |

| As
well as
supplying complete house kits, We also supply timber frame extension
kits. These kits are manufactured to the same standard as a
house kit and contain the same components but just on a smaller scale.
All the specifications and optional extras are available on
the extension kits along with our support and advice. Please

Using our frames which are pre cut and jointed it is possible to erect the extension very quickly. Once the roof is membraned and battened and the walls covered in membrane, the structure is essential watertight. Timber Frame extension kits come with all the same components as the house kits. The kits are manufactured in the west country using Scandinavian timber from sustainable forests.
